Paradise, 2020

Specially created for a private collection, “We are all Pigeons” is a large tree sculpture with 11 pigeons that have dressed themselves up using London detritus.

Invited to a party, the pigeons have put together their own costumes using newspapers, tube tickets, chocolate wraps, junk food and other fragments sourced on the street.

Disguised as birds of paradise, the pigeons –often perceived as urban pests– have now stepped into the realm of their tropical and beautiful relatives.
